These Courses have been designed with equal emphasis on hardware and software to attune Engineers to the needs of the electronic and IT industry for the design and development of the state-of-the-art embedded systems. At present we have about three short term modules focusing on the followings fields of interest.
They are:
- Micro controllers and Embedded Tools :
Basic 8051, PIC Microcontroller Programming in KEIL , MPLABIDE and Hitech C Compiler. This course helps the beginners to learn the internals of Processors and few architectural issues. This also helps them in understanding the internals of Embedded Systems Designing as well as performance measurement parameters. At the end of this course the student can gain proficiency in handling 8 bit controllers and interfacing various real world devices to them as well as sound k knowledge in handling any kind of Embedded tool chains.
Eligibility
- Pre-final and final year students pursuing Engineering Degree in Electronics / Electrical / Electronics and Communication / Electronics & Instrumentation / Computer Science and Engineering / Computer Engineering/ Information Technology.
- B.Sc degree graduates & Diploma graduates in the above disciplines are also eligible
Duration: 2 Months
- Operating Systems and RTOS:
This course is aimed at those who are interested in working around various operating system issues as well as development of various applications on Real Time Operating Systems. To begin with this course comprises of basics of Operating Systems and later followed by introduction to RTOS (Micro C OS / VXworks). This course will also take you around various programming concepts and application development issues using any RTOS. At the end of this course module the student will be able to gain the knowledge sufficient to select appropriate RTOS for a given Application.
