While the need in industry for experienced professionals in the area of embedded-system development is experiencing a near exponential growth, the availability of trained engineers has not been able to keep pace with industry’s increasing demand. It is with this consideration in focus that IET (Institute of Embedded Technologies) was established in 2004 to promote the development of embedded technology in order to bridge the gap between demand and supply. IET is an enterprise that derives its expertise through consultancy offered by distinguished professionals from various industries and renowned organizations, mainly in the private sector. IET is focused and fully equipped to meet the challenges in Embedded design and Technology development.
Vision and Mission:
IET’s vision is to develop low-cost Embedded Technologies/ products that contribute to economic growth of the country and in order to realize this vision it is also engaged in training young and budding engineers in the area of embedded systems.
Thus IET, in addition to being involved in embedded product development, also imparts training to young engineers (Till date we have trained about 800 engineers in the field of Embedded Systems). IET also reaches out to the industrial sector by organizing training capsules for experienced professionals, workshops for management executives and training courses for hardware/software engineers. IET has the requisite expertise and is adequately equipped to undertake prototyping projects for various companies/enterprises.
